This website is owned and operated by Sherri Leppard. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and products/services as offered by us. By accessing or using the website of our service, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

When buying an item, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and you complete the check-out payment process.

The prices we charge for using our products/ services are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for products displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur.

Every single item is handmade by Sherri Leppard, which means that no two orders are exactly the same.

As a precaution, if your order value is over £20 it is always advised to purchase delivery with tracking included. Shem’s Smashing Sweets chooses Royal Mail as its preferred method of delivery. If you wish to use an alternative method of delivery please contact Sherri before making an order

When you place your order online we will send you an email to confirm that we have received it. This email confirmation will be produced automatically so that you have confirmation of your order details. The fact that you receive an automatic confirmation does not necessarily mean that we will be able to meet your order. Once we have sent the confirmation email we will then check availability and contact you with a further email. If the product is available and the details of the order are correct, this email will be deemed as acceptance and will specify delivery details and confirm the price of the products purchased. If the product is not available we will also let you know by email.

All new orders are deemed separate and each is treated individually.

Shem’s Smashing Sweets may cancel any sale and not supply products if it is reasonable to do so and may change or discontinue the availability of products at any time at its sole discretion. If an order is cancelled, any payment made for the products will be refunded in full. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Payment

You must pay for your order before it is delivered and you can do so by credit or debit card or paypal (via the website). The only exceptions to this are for corporate accounts where it is pre-agreed Shem’s Smashing Sweets that the company can pay by invoice.

Availability

The Sweets Treats list on our website is kept as up to date as possible, but, due to the nature and limited availability of the sweets that we sell, we cannot guarantee that particular products will always be available. If we can’t supply a product we reserve the right to replace it with an alternative sweet. We will always contact you should we not have the sweets that you have requested available. All offers are available while stocks last. If we are unable to supply a product you have ordered, we will notify you as soon as we can after receiving your order. If this happens, you may cancel your order and we will refund you the money you have paid for it.

Designs, products and photography used on the @shems_shamshing_sweets instragram account, Facebook business page, remain the property of Sherri Leppard and Shem’s Smashing Sweets and must not be used or replicated without prior written permission. This applies to all products, imagery and written copy.

If you are found to have infringed on the intellectual property or any property stated above, you will be asked to removed imagery and products from your sites before legal proceedings will be sought.

We reserve the right to modify these terms from time to time at our sole discretion. Therefore, you should review this page periodically. When we change the Terms in a material manner, we will notify you that material changes have been made to the Terms. Your continued use of the Website or our service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future version of the Terms, do not use or access (or continue to access) the website or the service.
